      Humble Acres Organics is a family owned composting operation, located in Blackville, South Carolina, in Barnwell County. The original farm was purchased in 1923 and has been farmed for five generations. Organic compost, and organic potting soil are the major commodities produced on the farm today.

      Organic dirt? Really? YES! We follow the USDA organic compost guidelines to ensure the proper internal heating of our products. This step-by-step process kills noxious weed seed and harmful soil microbes. We then let the compost sit in order to allow the natural, beneficial microbes, to recolonize the soil.       I have a large home garden and I needed quite a bit of compost. I had been looking around for companies who deliver but most of them are located outside of Columbia and charge a large delivery fee. I found Humble Acres Organics, and I'm so happy that I did. I received my compost in 50lb bags, which is nice because I can store it in my garage and not just have a huge pile laying in my yard until I'm ready to use it. The compost is dark and rich - you can tell it is good quality compost. I can't wait to see how well my garden grows with it this year.

      We had 28 cubic yards of I Can’t Believe It’s Chicken Manure Compost dumped and spread over our garden area in December 2020, for the 2021 growing season. We live in a county where the land is predominantly beach sand. It is now May 2021, and we are beyond impressed with our garden this year. This soil has made all the difference in the world. We were so thrilled with our results that we also put the Bloomin’ EZ Potting Soil in our raised beds, for our flowers. All of the Humble Acres Organic products are fantastic!

      I have the proof that you wanted to see versus hear. This is a 40 day growth pattern after the transplants rooted firmly in their new home.
      This raised bed was initially mixed with 5 bags of chicken compost at transplant stage then watered minimally with filtered tap water when no rain was abundant. I had no transpiration issues on scorching days due to the water retention aspect of your compost. Amazing!
      The only thing that I can find that truly allowed a intense growth spurt that is not pictured was footprint planting. All of these rare pepper plants was planted directly in a planting hole of chicken compost. This allowed the plant to freely root and uptake directly from the compost as they developed. 5-6 ft plants by end of season was the end result of your chicken compost magic.
      Proof is in the pudding. Customer for life. My plants love the organics of chicken compost.
